The main goal of Imani Program is to help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for individuals and families in need.
Imani currently trains students in tailoring and business skills, and in future cohorts may include jewelry making, beauty and hairdressing, cooking and pastry, housekeeping, and more. Imani Program seeks to provide young women with practical skills training to support themselves and their families.
Anyone passionate about women empowerment and skilled in areas like teaching, vocational training, counseling, or administration can apply to volunteer with Imani Program. Reach out to us via email for more details.
Imani is based in Ruaka, Kenya, and primarily serves young women from Nairobi and other towns across the country.
Since its inception in 2021, Imani Program has trained over 40 young women in vocational skills, enabling them to work as skilled professionals and support their families.
Imani aims to continue expanding its programs to support more young women, raise HIV/AIDS awareness, and offer broader educational and vocational opportunities to vulnerable women across Kenya.
You can support our vocational program by sponsoring a young mother’s training at $50 or Kes. 5,500 per month, making a donation towards the completion of the Imani House, purchasing a sewing machine, funding a Christmas gift basket, supporting the Director's full time salary, and more!
Imani Program is funded through donations from individuals who are passionate about our mission! Please read more on our website to learn more about how you can support Imani.
